Abstrakt: In more recent history, human security has been bifurcated by both broad and narrow definitions. A broad approach to human security is based on the concept of “freedom from want” and the narrow approach on “freedom from fear”. While these categorizations are, admittedly, rather simplistic in their labels, they do prove useful in illustrating how different advocates of human security follow quite different paths in pushing for human security action.

Abstrakt: The paper provides an insight into the application of criminalistics and criminology in the fight against extremism. It points to the importance of these two disciplines in eliminating this specific antisocial phenomenon. In the case of criminalistics, it analyzes the most appropriate forensic methods serving to detect extremist anti-social activities. In the case of criminology, it highlights the profile of the perpetrators of extremist acts, as well as the necessary profilaxes in the fight against extremism. The elaborated paper is based on the conclusions of several renowned scientists and their researches and analyses. He subjects these conclusions to a synthetic and analytical view.

Abstrakt: The presented paper analyses the relationship of the principles of administrative process with the principles of "good public administration" under the conditions of the legal order of the Slovak Republic. It interprets individual principles and examines their application in practice. The paper provides an analysis of the judgment of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic regarding the application of the principles of administrative process in proceedings under the Higher Education Act. With regard to the merits of the conclusions of the analysis of this judgment, he also critically evaluates the conclusions of the survey carried out in the environment of the Academy of the Armed Forces of Gen. M. R. Stefanik, which was aimed at respecting the principles of the administrative process in proceedings on exclusion from study.

Abstrakt: The article is devoted to the theoretical definition of the methodological starting points of society and the army with an emphasis on the current specifics of the concept of youth, the structure of youth and especially military youth. The future of the armed forces, the success of recruitment into the professional army depends significantly on whether the youth will be interested in serving in the army, what is their attitude towards the defense of the homeland. The research presented in the article focuses on a closer empirical knowledge of the relationship between youth and the army and, as a priority, on the question of youth interest in joining the army.

Abstrakt: Host Nation Support, i.e. support from the host country is civil and military support provided by Host Nation in times of peace, crisis or war to the armed forces and NATO organizations or other armed forces that are the territory of the host country deployed, operating in the territory, from its territory or passing through it. Mutual cooperation within the alliance and its partners creates increased security guarantees for the host country as well as for the neighboring countries of the alliance and partners. The presence of foreign troops or organizations close to NATO is not limited only to the tasks resulting from the main NATO documents, but expands the scope of the presence based on additional bilateral agreements and treaties between individual countries.
