Abstrakt: In more recent history, human security has been bifurcated by both broad and narrow definitions. A broad approach to human security is based on the concept of “freedom from want” and the narrow approach on “freedom from fear”. While these categorizations are, admittedly, rather simplistic in their labels, they do prove useful in illustrating how different advocates of human security follow quite different paths in pushing for human security action.

Abstrakt: In today's world, social media has become a significant tool for the dissemination of extremist ideologies and the radicalization of individuals. This article focuses on the importance of digital footprints in social media for detecting and analyzing processes of radicalization. We apply methods of digital forensics to identify patterns of interaction, content, and communication that signal radicalization activity. Our findings show that the analysis of digital footprints can contribute to more effective monitoring and prevention of extremist activities.

Abstrakt: The main objective of this article is to provide basic information about the motives leading to corrupt behaviour, to explain the essence of corruption from the point of view of public economics, to present the classification of corruption according to selected signs, to describe the manifestations of corrupt behaviour and to focus attention on the possibilities of preventing phenomena associated with corruption in the Department of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic.

Abstrakt: Nowadays, international relations are characterized by the presence of many conflicts and contradictions between or within countries, which pose a threat to international peace and security. This leads to the emergence of a form of global international cooperation called "peacekeeping". One of the main tools for resolving conflicts is the use of armed force in the form of international peacekeeping missions. The UN plays a key role in this area, as well as other regional and international organizations such as NATO, the European Union, and the African Union. Primary responsibility for maintaining international security and peace rests with the UN Security Council. The Security Council has many responsibilities, including: deciding on ceasefires, sending troops and missions to armed conflict zones, and conducting peacekeeping operations through UN-sponsored military contingents.
