Abstrakt: This paper deals with the issue of logistics planning as one of the planning domains (functional areas) of the defence planning in the Department of Defence of the Slovak Republic. The author of the paper clarifies the main starting points and outputs of logistics planning, planned intentions and goals in the field of logistics. The paper contains the results of the theoretical and empirical research conducted on the issue. The author of the paper used the type of descriptive research problem – she was looking for an answer to the question: What are the main starting points and outputs of logistics planning as part of defence planning in conditions in the Ministry of Defence Department of the Slovak Republic?
