Abstrakt: The presented study was created as a contribution that was presented at the international scientific conference entitled New trends of professional training in the armed forces and security forces held on May 23, 2024 at the Academy of the Armed Forces of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik in Liptovský Mikuláš. It goes without saying that it does not cover the entire issue in the field, which is extremely extensive and complex. It offers an overview and basic general information about the science of religious studies. Subsequently, it addresses specific reasons why the spiritual essence of a person, his religiosity and the epistemology of spiritual realities in the personal, social and professional modality of a military professional should not be forgotten when preparing future officer-leaders.
