Abstrakt: Education of professional soldiers in the field of leadership is one of the areas which are among the priorities of some strategic documents and which need to be developed nowadays in the conditions of the Slovak Armed Forces. In order to identify good practices from abroad in the subject area and to propose possible application solutions for the Slovak Armed Forces, the article is devoted to the identification and comparison of systems, elements and characteristics of education of military personnel in the field of leadership in the V4 countries.
