Abstrakt: Defining the concept of leadership and leader is a basic prerequisite for the investigation of any issue. The definition of leadership varies with respect to the phenomena under investigation, but it also has common features. When examining leadership from the perspective of men and women, we consider it important to define not only these basic terms, but also the qualities, characteristics and skills of a leader. Subsequently, it will be possible to evaluate any differences in leadership by men and women, or their leadership styles
