Abstrakt: The European Union is a community of currently twenty-seven member states. Most of them are classified as smaller or small states in terms of geographical area and economic strength as well as military power. Therefore, one of the most researched topics within the European Union's foreign, security and defence policy concerns its small member states and their approaches to security and defence integration. Their interests in this area may differ significantly from those of the larger member states of the Union, as well as their strategies. Considering the already achieved progress in European integration in the field of security and defence, the author therefore deals in the study with the challenges and opportunities that the small member states of the European Union had to deal with. In the above context, within the framework of interdisciplinary theoretical scientific research, it assesses the previous research of small member states within the European security and defence policy, examines developments in the field of security and defence integration, and at the same time analyses the main discussions taking place in the professional literature about small member states of the European Union and their approach to security and defence integration.

Abstrakt: The article deals with robotic autonomous systems in current environment, from military viewpoint. The goal of the article and supposed contribution is to present concentrated, synthetised and via experts discussed known and new data about robotic autonomous systems, which can be used as a booster for following studies. Authors selectively describe current security and operational environment, using various sources, trends, unmanned technologies and possibilities to increase military capabilities. Using deep analysis of large scale of sources and Dolphi method, they present real options to utilise robotic autonomous systems in short and medium-term time horizon according to capabilities. The motivation for creating the article was fact, that in military family are not complexly discussed arguments and circumstances, why to deal and implement robotic autonomous systems. The employment of the article is directed mostly into field of military theory and military art.

Abstrakt: The membership of the Slovak Republic in the European Union fundamentally determines the international status of the Slovak Republic, represents the primary environment for the implementation of key interests of the Slovak Republic, provides adequate opportunities to influence international decisions and processes that have an impact on the security and quality of life of the citizens of the Slovak Republic. As a member of the European Union, the Slovak Republic participates in the processes of creating all European policies including the Common Foreign and Security Policy. At the same time, of course, it actively participates in fulfilling and ensuring the goals and tasks arising from it.

Abstrakt: In this article we deal with education in the field of integrated information system. This area of education is currently insufficiently secured. Dissemination of theoretical and practical knowledge and experience is a basic prerequisite for successful logistics management. The Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic covers most of the processes in the field of planning, budget, financial management, human resources, logistics - the Integrated Information System. Education in this area is carried out several times in the form of gaining experience from colleagues. The biggest problem in the training at the Academy of the Armed Forces in this area is the currently non-functional classroom of the integrated information system.
