Abstrakt: This paper deals with the issue of the defence support planning of the Slovak Republic. Defence support is one of the planning domains (functional areas) of defence planning in the Department of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic. The article presents the results of the theoretical and empirical research conducted on the issue. The author of the paper clarifies the main theoretical starting points of the researched issue, describes in more detail the defence support planning methodology of the Department of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic. She points out the most significant problems of practise in this area and informs the reader about the planned goals and objectives plans for the further development of defence support of the Slovak Republic for the coming years, as well as with a view to 2035.
