Abstrakt: Manifestations of the new professional need for human resource management are beginning to be partially manifested in the concepts of leadership, talent development, or diversity management. The function of human resources in military organizations will participate significantly more in added value of the 21st century. The author's effort is to bring the public in this area closer to the issue of leadership from a psychological point of view as part of the effective leadership of people in the 21st century. Therefore, the military environment, like many other work environments, is currently becoming the subject of introducing the use of the creation of competency models. Their use is a prerequisite for a sufficient analysis of professional higher education and career education in the field of leadership.
